Let me get right to the point!

If there was ever a female singer that could flawlessly recreate the music and magic of the great Dame Shirley Bassey, it’s Jenifer Green.

For over three years, Jenifer has performed her Strictly Bassey show in some of Australia’s greatest showrooms and on the world’s most luxurious cruise-liners, wowing the audience with her powerful voice and stunning stage presence. Now, Strictly Bassey, the show that has mesmerized more than 100,000 people, is coming to town. Jenifer Green’s career on stage and screen, here and in America, is a story laced with never-ending accolades, outstanding achievements and enviable success.

Jenifer was the first and only entertainer in the 38 year history of the Australian National Mo Awards to win three major awards in the same year: The Peter Alan Entertainer of the Year, Best Female Vocalist and Best Tribute Show for Strictly Bassey. She achieved this triple honour not once, but twice over two consecutive years in 2010 and 2011.

Jenifer’s years living and working in America for fifteen years are the stuff that dreams are made of.

Her talents earned her the spotlight in internationally renowned venues across America, including The Sahara Casino in Las Vegas, Harah’s Casino in Lake Tahoe, The Kennedy Centre in Washington DC, Ballys Casino in Atlantic City and The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. So captivating were her stage performances that invitations rolled in to appear on some of America’s most popular television shows. Merv Griffin Show and The Tonight Show were highlights, along with her role as co-host of the Jerry Lewis Telethon, which was televised to viewers around the world.

She toured alongside entertainment icons such as Bob Hope, George Burns, Mickey Rooney and Donald O’Connor before moving to acting, making her film debut with Robert Conrad in Sudden Death. She also featured in many much-loved television series including General Hospital and Santa Barbara. Hollywood columnist Jim Parker described Jenifer as an extraordinary talent. “Not since the days of Judy Garland have I heard such a quality, or witnessed such a vibrant and moving performance. I must use the word ‘Garlandesque’”, he wrote.

Now Jenifer is back on her home turf, Jenifer’s latest show is strictly about the legendary Dame Shirley Bassey. There’s nothing about Shirley Bassey that Jenifer doesn’t know. In her show, Jenifer weaves her way through the music, stories and history of this great singer. She has chosen a repertoire of classics, including Big Spender, I Who Have Nothing, Never Never Never, Something, This Is My Life, and many more favourites. Also on the list are Bassey’s multi-award-winning hits from James Bond – Goldfinger and Diamonds are Forever. Backed by an eight piece orchestra, conducted by Joe Macri, Strictly Bassey is a magical evening of entertainment that will leave the audience exhilarated, smiling and feeling like they have just spent an evening with the Dame herself.

Jenifer’s special guest is internationally renowned impressionist, Keith Scott, known as “The man of a thousand voices’. Keith will take the audience on a journey through a world of music and comedy where no one is safe: politicians, TV stars and singing legends, all get the ‘Keith Scott’ satirical treatment. From JFK to Barack Obama, Gough Whitlam to Kevin Rudd, Keith’s comic timing, facial expressions and wickedly funny one-liners have his audiences spinning between laughing loudly and being totally spellbound. His impersonations of Sean Connery, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Billy Connolly, George W. Bush, along with show-stopping musical voices, including the famed Las Vegas Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis, Jr.) are astounding. Perfect for cruise ship entertainment!
